Finally reached the point where the chapter is entirely new, even for those that read the MTL versions of the last two chapters. Though I would seriously recommend that if you did, then you should read my version if you haven’t done so yet. There are some serious inaccuracies in the MTL version, as you could expect.

A reader by the name of Chivalrious drew attention to the fact that Hello Work’s translation was pretty much abandoned for more than a year now.
Since I translated the second volume of the light novels here in the past and this story was one of the most okay-ish ones I used to read, I thought it might be a good idea to get back to it now.
I work best and fastest with smaller chapter sizes, so I decided to break apart some of the light novel chapters where I can. This means you get the first part of chapter 9 today and the second one tomorrow and so on.
I will try to hold myself to a proper schedule, but as always that might not be possible sometimes.
Anyhow, enjoy today’s chapter.

Back with a new Contractor chapter.
This long summer break was largely because I got swamped with work things and such.
Heavy Knight is still on hiatus in japanese it seems, but once a new chapter drops, I will translate it with all haste.
Until then, Contractor remains the main project for now, with maybe No Fatigue or Redo Prince if I can force myself to continue it.

I was contemplating publishing this in two parts, but since it’s a friday today, I thought I might as well put the entire thing out. Also, the second part would’ve been in large part just the status window, so that would’ve been less then ideal as well.

So, I guess it’s been a while since I’ve put anything up, so here is a thing. The delay is mostly due to work and various life stuff, as usual. The work stuff is not exactly over just yet, so don’t expect a 4-5/week schedule just yet.
This is the first chapter of a relatively short series by the same author as Heavy Knight, so I decided to start on it while the releases are sparse for that one.
